Long time, no write.
I thought it was time I shared with you that a Norwegian publisher has shown some interest for my book. It's Cappelen Damm, and for those who are interested you can check out their page here:
http://www.cappelendamm.no/main/katalog.aspx
Downside is that they want me to translate it in to Norwegian which is crappylappy! So it's going slow, but it's getting there =)
Some dream, some want, I do

A break
I've taken a writing-break for a while now, and am considering commencing the work of the Fairytale of Sophie Isabell. This is another hobby of mine, that I really like to do. Check out my blog here:

Also, check out the blog of "The Stamp Goddess". A true inspiration to the art of scrapping!

Hello people
I haven't been very clever updating here, but there's really not much to say. The book progress has come to a halt, as I am at the moment a student of the Gotham Zoetrope writers course to improve my grammar and writing. This is going well, and I am looking forward to finishing my book, as I am full of beans and have a bunch of ideas. The writing course is also giving me ideas for new projects, so this is going to be fun.
The childrens book was rejected, so we'll be trying another agency.
Otherwise life is busy with lots of work and training. And children are a handful aswell.
Thanks for tuning in, and have a great Autumn (although it says it's - 10 degrees out, I still refuse to say it is winter)...

Still alive
Hello my faithful readers.
The past weeks here have been chaotic on my part. I think about writing every day, but I just can't find the time to sit myself down and write =(
My brothers' wedding was finally over this weekend, but then on Monday I was offered a job and am now working 8 hours a day. Since my husband just has gone out to work on his boat, I am now pracitcally a single mum; bringing/picking up the children from kindergarten and housekeeping. I also need to find time to sleep in between, so yeah, days are long. I wish I had more energy to cope, but sadly I have to work with what I've got!
The good news is that the childrens book is now ready for publishing, so all I need now is a printer to send it out there. Crossing my fingers that it will be out by the end of this week! I'm really pleased with it, and I have also got a new idea for another childrens book!
Hope you're all live and kicking, and that your'e not too busy to enjoy life!

Curiosity killed the cat
To get to know my handful of readers out there, I thought I'd launch one new question each week. I'll try to keep it going on Thursdays, and to direct the questions towards my interests. So here is the first question, just leave the answer in the commentfield underneath.
I'd love to know if you have any favourite authors?
My favourite author is the Norwegian writer Karin Fossum. There is only one of her books I haven't read, but it's on my to - do list before the year has past. It's her latest book, and I just haven't gotten round to it yet.
She has written three novels, and a bunch of crime novels. Also her first book was a collection of her poetry. I specialized in her three novels a few years ago, having read through "Jonas Eckel" and "The night of November 4th" three times, and "The house of the insane" five times. I love the way she writes, and especially when she writes crime. What is so exceptional is that she forces the reader to sympathize with the murderer, rather than the victim and their families. Every time I embark on one of her new books, I always dread having to care about pedophiles, rapists and murderers. She really gets into their minds and you understand (without excusing) why they do what they do.
So this is why Karin Fossum is my favorite author.

Finally back on track
I've finally had my computer back from repair, and GOD how fantastic it is to write again. I don't think I need to worry about getting stuck for the next few days, to put it that way. After one hour I have now completed 1750 words, and I'll call it quits for the evening. I need some sleep too!
Anyway, I'm back and have got some updates for later.

my computer is so bad now i can't even switch it on. (i'm on my phone now). It is currently with a computer expert-a friend of mine who has taken it home to see if he can repair it. Crossing my fingers so i'll have it back tomorrow.
